Onboarder enables Web3 products to engage more developers. With weekly prizes and short, interactive, and fun tutorials and walk-throughs that showcase the power and possibilities of these products.

Inspiration

Web3 products are truly redefining the status quo. The likes of Space and Time, Flow and Truflation which I investigated, are all truly amazing. But the complexity of Web3 projects alone is enough to drive the engagement from developers to the minimum.

Developers struggle to quickly understand and effectively apply Web3 products to create impactful decentralized applications (dApps) and there's also a lack of incentives to motivate learning and application.

What it does

Onboarder is simple. Showcase the best parts of a technology or product in 5 Parts (3-5 lessons a part). It is hands-on (Developers actually use the tech and get see how it would work in when they want to implement it.

How we built it

Onboarder is a web app built with ReactJS, Vite and EthersJS and deployed on Vercel

Challenges we ran into

  • Developing for different technologies
  • Deciding what to add and what to leave out.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As at time of writing we have created demo onboarders (2-3 lessons each) for 7 projects

What's next for Onboarder

  • Add the remaining functionality missing (Authentication & NFT mints)
  • Finish up some the onboarders for projects
  • Launch in beta
