Inspiration

Predictions between friends often get buried in chat, and later no one remembers the exact wording. I wanted a simple place to keep everyone's original answer and settle the result.

What it does

Friends connect, create a claim with a deadline, and answer separately. Gemini checks whether the claim can be settled clearly. If it can, the answers lock. When the deadline arrives, participants vote on what happened. The app shows the outcome, who got it right, and the updated score. It also supports group claims.

How I built it

I used React and TypeScript for the app, Supabase for accounts and shared records, and an Edge Function to call Gemini. The hosted version can be installed on a phone.

What I learned

The hardest part was getting the AI to accept informal but measurable claims while rejecting opinions. I also learned that a score means little unless the result clearly shows why someone earned it.
