Inspiration
As corona virus outbreak continues there is a massive demand of blood in blood banks. Blood banks storage is getting depleted drastically since COVID-19 hit our country as people do not have safe place to donate blood.
What it does
The platform provide centralised view to registered donors/blood banks to see available camps/donors. Donor can register as a donor and create camp by providing location, this camp is the used to invite other donors to join. Once the minimum number of donors subscribed to a camp then its is visible to blood banks and other orgs where they can show interest to handle the logistics. A map based view is an USP which shows donors on map along with COVID-19 hotspot areas for warnings. This will reduce the risk of contagion in already infected areas. As user registers as a donor he/she will receive warnings based on users location if it comes under affected areas.
How I built it
Prototype is ready. Working on full implementation
