Inspiration
As a student, I often find myself switching between multiple AI tools to get the information or assistance I need, which can be frustrating and time-consuming. I wanted to build a single platform that would support both my academic growth and professional work, bringing everything I need into one seamless, AI-powered workspace.
What it does
OmniMind AI Workspace allows users to code, debug, and deploy websites, generate videos and images, summarize large textbooks, record meetings and classes, create notes, and track tasks intelligently, all while retrieving information directly from the web with diagrams and visuals.
How we built it
I used Gemini AI to bring my idea to life. With simple prompts, it helped me create a workspace that can code, create content, summarize text, fetch information, deploy projects, and record voice/text with keyword search.
Challenges we ran into
I had almost no experience with backend or full-stack development, so I relied on Gemini AI to help build the platform. The challenge was figuring out how to guide it to combine coding, content, notes, and real-time info into one easy-to-use workspace.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm doing something new and challenging, trying to prove that my ideas matter.
What we learned
I built a workspace on Gemini AI that can summarize large texts with diagrams, code, debug, optimize projects, and track tasks or conversations. While it currently only works on Gemini, I’ve started learning more about how websites work, using API keys, and deployment, and I believe this application could help many students if fully built.
What's next for OmniMind AI Workspace
I plan to expand real-time web search with diagrams and visuals, add collaboration for team projects, improve AI tutoring and personalized learning, and provide more advanced deployment options. My goal is to keep pushing myself and proving that my ideas can create something meaningful.
