Inspiration

At Kanaloa Network we will be needing the ability to send complex messages between connected chains. This is more or less a proof of concept for what we will need.

What it does

As long as the OmniMessenger is deployed in both chains using the same address, it will be able to send messages back and forth.

How we built it

I drank like 4 liters of Monster while programming this.

Challenges we ran into

Getting gas tokens from faucets was a NIGHTMARE. I even had to ask some friends for Fuji AVAX (shoutout to Deaf).

On top of that... testing has been complicated. I discovered that Sepolia > Avalanche seems to be a no-go route (despite it being a "supported chain" when probed through "isChainSupported()"), and I keep getting absurd gas fees for what are essentially empty messages when testing with Foundry.
