While she waits or saves up, the irreplaceable "golden period" for early intervention slips away. 📉 This bottleneck isn't just a systemic flaw; it is a daily crisis for thousands of families dealing with developmental and mental health challenges.
Technology should bridge this gap, not widen it. 🌉 That is why we built OmniCare—an adaptive, AI-powered healthcare engine designed to serve as a high-performance, low-cost "first line of defense" for children and the elderly. 🛡️
🚀 The OmniCare Solution: AI with a Human Touch
OmniCare is a multi-dimensional monitoring architecture that transforms intimidating, expensive preliminary healthcare assessments into an automated, accessible, and friendly process right from the user's home. 🏠
- 🌟 Emotional AI & The Magic of "Little Star": Clinical settings can be terrifying for children. To solve this, we introduced "Little Star," a cartoon VTuber module. By interacting with a friendly virtual character, children naturally lower their psychological defenses and communicate freely. 🗣️ Behind the scenes, our real-time semantic analysis seamlessly detects risk indicators like anxiety, depression, or keywords hinting at school bullying. 🧠
- 🏃♂️ Precision Skeleton Tracking for Motor Skills: Evaluating physical development is now as simple as recording a video. 📹 Users upload clips of their daily activities and select a specific movement category. Our AI skeleton tracking then compares the user's movements against a "golden standard" reference clip. 📏 The system identifies what the user is doing well, pinpoints areas of deficiency (like limb coordination or bilateral balance), and provides highly actionable, personalized recommendations for improvement. ✅
- 🧓 Empowering the Elderly: OmniCare isn't just for kids. We've integrated a RAG-based Welfare Consultation Chatbot 💬 to help seniors navigate complex social services, alongside advanced Gait Analysis 🚶 to assess fall risks and improve home safety.
🛠️ The Architecture: Scalable, Sustainable, and Smart
To make OmniCare universally accessible, we couldn't just build a smart system; we had to build an economically sustainable one. 💡 Relying entirely on heavy AI models would quickly price out the very families we are trying to help. Instead of a basic budget constraint, we engineered a Sustainable Cost-Routing Architecture utilizing an AWS Hybrid-Cloud setup. ☁️ This ensures enterprise-grade availability without the enterprise-grade price tag.
- 🔀 Intelligent Dynamic Routing: We utilize Amazon Bedrock to drive our multi-modal reasoning, but we do so strategically. Routine conversational queries and Cantonese small talk are seamlessly routed to the highly efficient AWS Nova Lite. ⚡ Meanwhile, complex medical reasoning and heavy video/skeleton analysis trigger the powerful AWS Nova Pro. 🦾
- 🛡️ Pre-API Validation & Middleware: Our custom middleware calculates estimated token usage before any request hits Bedrock. By referencing a real-time database in Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL), the system enforces dynamic cost thresholds. 📊 This prevents API overruns and ensures the platform remains financially viable for massive-scale deployment.
- 🌍 Global Delivery & Security: Traffic flows securely through Amazon CloudFront to an Application Load Balancer, with services hosted on Amazon ECS across multiple Availability Zones for maximum uptime. 🔒 Sensitive video objects and structured data are kept strictly private via Amazon S3 and RDS.
