Inspiration

We live in an era of choice paralysis. For today’s youth, every major decision—choosing between a stable corporate job and a risky startup, or staying in a big city vs. moving back home—feels like a gamble with their entire future. We realized that while people have financial advisors for their money, they have no "life advisors" to help them visualize the long-term consequences of their personal choices. We wanted to build a tool that turns "What if?" into a tangible, visual journey.

What it does

Omni-Life Lab is an AI-powered life-path simulator that lets users "live" their future before they commit to it. Dual-Path Simulation: Users input two conflicting life choices, and the AI generates two parallel 10-year timelines. Dynamic Metrics: It tracks three core pillars—Wealth, Liberty, and Vitality—showing how they fluctuate over a decade. Life Slices: The app generates "future snapshots" (like simulated social media posts or diary entries) at key milestones to provide an emotional connection to the data.

How we built it

We focused on creating a seamless, high-impact web experience: LLM Core: We used state-of-the-art AI models to handle the generative storytelling and logic branching for the 10-year forecasts. Frontend: Built with a modern web stack, utilizing responsive design to ensure the dual-path comparison looks stunning on any screen. Data Visualization: We implemented dynamic charting to turn abstract AI predictions into clear, understandable trends for Wealth, Liberty, and Vitality. And MOST IMPORTANT: We Use MeDo.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was balancing realism with creativity. We didn't want the AI to just give "happy endings." We had to fine-tune the prompts to include "Black Swan" events—unexpected market shifts or personal setbacks—to ensure the simulation felt grounded and meaningful.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Seamless Multiverse Logic: We are incredibly proud of how our AI engine can take a single, vague human dilemma and branch it into two distinct, logically consistent 10-year narratives in seconds. Intuitive Visualization: We successfully translated complex life variables—like "Freedom" and "Mental Vitality"—into a clean, interactive UI that makes future planning feel like a strategic game rather than a stressful chore. Emotional Resonance: Seeing the "Life Slices" generated for the first time was a breakthrough. The AI’s ability to capture the specific "vibe" of a future moment—like the quiet loneliness of a high-paying job or the chaotic joy of a creative pursuit—exceeded our expectations.

What we learned

We learned that data is more powerful when it tells a story. A graph showing "Happiness" is okay, but a simulated diary entry from your "future self" in year 2030 is what truly helps a user make a decision. We also realized the immense potential of AI in helping people navigate psychological anxiety and decision-making.

What's next for Omni-Life Lab

"Mirror Cards" Social Integration: We plan to implement a lightweight social layer where users facing the same life dilemmas can anonymously view each other's simulated paths. You’ll be able to send a "signal" to someone who is at the same crossroads as you, fostering a community of shared empathy. Real-Time Data Integration: In the next version, we want to allow users to sync their real bank accounts (via APIs) or LinkedIn profiles to make the starting parameters of the simulation 100% accurate. Wearable Sync: Imagine your "Vitality" score in the simulation being influenced by your actual sleep and stress data from your smartwatch, creating a true "Digital Twin" of your life. Expert Marketplace: Connecting users to real-life coaches or financial planners who specialize in the specific paths the user is most excited about exploring.
