Inspiration
Inspiration for this project to be coded in R will be my OMIS - 665 course and Professor Dr. Biagio Palese, who made us understand the concepts of R language and made us visualize the big data efficiently. And I also wanted to challenge myself by doing this project in R.
What it does
This project helps the ULINE company to identify the location for their next distribution center to improve their performance
How we built it
I built this project by importing the dataset given by the Uline company and analyzed the data through some manipulations and derived the solution based on my analysis.
Challenges we ran into
The challenge I initially had was the huge amount of data to be executed in R studio. And it took some time for me to understand the data and come up with steps for analysis
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am really satisfied with the output I got for this project.
What we learned
I learned many new packages and functions in R. And also learned how to approach a real time problem. This learning will help me in my career further.
