I wanted to create an AI assistant that could help cancer doctors make better, faster decisions while maintaining medical safety standards.

Creates an AI assistant specialized for cancer doctors. Helps analyze patient cases and treatment options.
How we built it
Built responsive chat interface with medical-themed styling, Integrated Gemini API. (For the GitHub code, please ensure you add your own API)
Challenges we ran into
API Limitations: Handling rate limits and response reliability from external services. Complex Prompting: Crafting system prompts that maintained medical context across conversations.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
OMIC provides oncologists with a 24/7 clinical companion that can analyze complex cases, suggest evidence-based treatments, and highlight important considerations.
What we learned
Medical Ethics: The critical importance of safety disclaimers and professional oversight in healthcare AI. API Integration: Working with Google Gemini API for complex medical conversations.
