We attended the Alteryx workshop and were incredibly surprised with the software - so we decided to challenge ourselves to build something entirely on it!

Our project uses biometric data from a target athlete. It then uses two models trained to predict the chances of winning a medal, and in the case of acquiring it, which spot in the podium could they potentially achieve. These models are dynamically adapted to the sport the user desires, as certain characteristics may be favourable to some sports while being detrimental for others.

Moving forward, we plan on building two more models to account for the sex category, as 'low' features for some participants may be 'high' for others, confounding our results. We also intend on creating an improved user-friendly interaction, as at the moment it is quite limited.

Learning in less than 24h how to build something in an entirely new environment was certainly challenging - but we had lots of fun and we learnt a lot! :D
