OI Burner

Story

You receive a random code from an unknown number, you know what it is; your heist partner is ready to connect. At 0700 hours you type that code into your terminal; it is a room code, and you already know the password, y'all discussed it a long time ago. You both connect over an encrypted peer-to-peer terminal session. You hear a noise at the door /burn all evidence of your conversation is wiped. You are ready for the heist.

How we built it

A custom rendezvous server and TUI client all written in Go. Messages are encrypted with AES.

I wrote the rendezvous server, hole punching logic, and the API that the clients use for connecting and communicating with each other.

Built the terminal client for the app in Go. Designed and implemented the TUI with Bubble Tea featuring: room-code login, live chat, connection monitoring, and the "burn" feature that wipes a conversation on both ends and exits without leaving traces in memory or terminal scrollback.
