Inspiration
We're the KeikiNextDoor who want to make finding resources for the ohana easier, especially during the pandemic.
What it does
Ohana Support is an accomodation of relevant pre-screened websites in an easy to use package. Users can use the website to narrow down searches for family resources and information.
How we built it
The website was built using Blazor and TailwindCSS.
Challenges we ran into
There were challenges with the database, but we managed to build it and make it possible to search for links based off of tags/related topics.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud that we were able to create something that can help local families during the pandemic.
What we learned
How to set up the database, add data into it, and properly bring up results based off of certain tags.
What's next for OhanaSupport
Our next goal is to get a tailored search available, so far the website can only bring up links using a search bar.
