Inspiration
Imagine yourself as a person who has a job in an unbanked area. You have received your paycheck and have no way to cash in the check unless you want to pay a high fee. So what else could you do?
What it does
Create a mobile banking app with a friendly interface that is able to integrate EBT/SNAP benefits as well as a section that the user is able to educate themselves in banking and more. To simplify their search they are able to ask a chatbot that could guide them to the right resources to help them in their journey.
Challenges we ran into
The plan was to use React Native, but videos were too complicated and outdated for simple methods, so we pivoted to using React instead.
What we learned
Collaborated as a team to solve a problem by brainstorming, designing, and executing.
