What's next for Offtools
The problem
UK tradespeople juggle job leads, cash flow, tenders and admin across disconnected tools. Small firms need one practical desk that respects how they actually work.
What Offtools does
Offtools brings jobs, money and public-sector tenders into one focused workspace. A tradesperson can review nearby opportunities, keep an eye on money due, and plan work from a clear home dashboard. Pro unlocks Tender Radar, turning hard-to-find tender opportunities into a useful, searchable feed.
Who it is for
Independent builders, electricians, plumbers, decorators and other UK trades teams who need less admin and better visibility of work.
How it was built
The mobile-first product is designed around fast, glanceable workflows and a calm, high-contrast interface. We learned that reducing context switching matters as much as adding features. The main challenge was making jobs, money and tenders feel like one coherent desk rather than three separate utilities.
Monetization with RevenueCat
Offtools uses RevenueCat to manage GBP subscriptions and entitlements. The free experience covers the core job desk; a Pro subscription unlocks Tender Radar. The launch plan is an App Store intro offer/founding trial, with a promo code to be announced when the app is live. Store links are pending approval.
Why these categories
Offtools is a strong fit for the HAMM Award because it is a hands-on tool for people who build and maintain the places we live and work. It fits the RevenueCat Design Award through its focused information hierarchy, approachable workflow and subscription experience that keeps value clear.
