Inspiration

We noticed the increasingly virtual and digital world and worried for the loss of meaningful communication. We wanted some way to combine the modern, agent-focused workflow with more traditional modes of human connection.

What it does

Office Plus One combines all the important digital communication and collaboration applications, offering a shared and virtual workspace with file sharing, computer-VR connection, calendars, meetings, and most importantly, AI assistants with inter-agent capabilities.

How we built it

We combined multi-agentic workflow, combining Claude coding models with multiple other AI helpers. We quickly finished a prototype that we continuously refined through user surveys to optimize for intuitive and practical tools.

Challenges we ran into

We knew what we needed to solve, but human-centered design processes require continuous testing and feedback. We needed to find testers, and we needed to balance our design around the differing feedback we received.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the solution we developed, believing in its ability to improve the remote experience. Specifically, we're proud of the modes of interaction that are available to the user. Our hand tracking and gesture selection allow for ease-of-use, and the amount of interactive yet efficient tools and methods make the product feel realistic yet fun. We love that frustrating file transfers can be done by simply handing a file over, just like real life.

What we learned

We've learned a lot about how to design with users in mind. We also learned how to implement and truly make use of multiple agents.

What's next for Office Plus One

We hope that large firms will adopt our software, pushing the boundaries of both VR and its applications. We envision a world where people can manage this digitalizing world through tools like ours that create human and life-like interaction in a virtual and remote setting.
