Inspiration

Schools, associations, local authorities and small businesses in Europe often keep their documents on their own storage for data-protection reasons. They would like AI help with summaries, minutes and translations, but they cannot paste internal files into public chatbots. I develop Omnifloo Office (office.omnifloo.com), an ONLYOFFICE-based collaborative suite that these teams can self-host. This Skill brings AI to the same files, directly on a UGREEN AI NAS.

What it does

From one natural-language request, the Skill finds the office documents in a NAS folder, asks the user to confirm the list, then produces a summary, meeting minutes, a rewrite, an answer with evidence, or a translation into English, French, Italian, Spanish or German. It saves the result as a new file only after approval. It reports which files were read, which failed, and the coverage.

How I built it

The Skill is a pure orchestration Skill written to the Uliya Skill Development Standard with the UGOS Skill Creation Tool. It delegates in a fixed order to three registered experts: file-agent (ug-filesystem find/ls/stat), document-agent (ug-document writing/translate/qa) and knowledge-agent (ug-knowledge save-text). It handles every delegation state (completed, failed, cancelled, waiting_user, waiting_approval) and every empty or partial result. It contains no scripts, credentials or external calls.

Challenges

Designing self-contained instructions that pass only real results between steps, and putting user confirmation before every write without making the flow tedious.

What's next

If selected as a Finalist: validate format support (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, ODT, PDF), language codes, approval prompts and local-model processing on the iDX6011 Pro, then record the demo.
