Inspiration

The inspiration for OdinCare AI comes from the high costs and scheduling challenges associated with traditional healthcare. The goal is to provide an AI-powered doctor that allows users to report their day-to-day health status and receive AI-based recommendations and diagnostics.

What it does

OdinCare AI serves as a health visual assistant that collects users' day-to-day health status and provides them with AI-based diagnosis and recommendations. It's designed to alleviate the burden of high healthcare expenses and the constraints and cost of scheduling doctor visits. It is also a tool for doctors to use to monitor their patients health status and monitor drug efficiency since patiences/users provide their day-to-day health status to the AI.

How we built it

OdinCare AI is currently built in JavaScript and utilizes speech recognition APIs, text-to-speech recognition, and the ChatGPT 3.5 Turbo API. The application collects users' daily health status and provides diagnostic information in the form of reports, recommendations, and more.

Challenges we ran into

The original plan involved collecting previous health records from users, which has not been fully implemented yet. There may have been technical or data-related challenges in implementing this feature. Also, we tried using Terra's Odin AI, but we could not get enough data and support to proceed.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

One of the accomplishments of the project is the successful collection of users' day-to-day health status and the provision of AI-based diagnosis. Additionally, the team learned how to set up and implement the ChatGPT API.

What we learned

The team learned how to implement the ChatGPT API and gained a deeper understanding of the healthcare sector during the project.

What's next for OdinCare Ai

The next steps for OdinCare AI include further development to build a prototype that can be tested to assess its feasibility. This implies a continued commitment to improving and expanding the capabilities of the AI-based healthcare assistant.
