ODETT (Open Data Extractor & Transformator Tool) aims to develop a comprehensive and universal solution for fetching logistics objects from the ONE Record API and efficiently forwarding them to multiple outputs using Apache Camel. This project enables seamless integration between various logistics systems and data consumers, streamlining the process of accessing and utilizing logistics data.

In addition to the data fetching and forwarding capabilities, the project includes an innovative CO2 emission calculator. By leveraging the logistics objects obtained from the fetched data, the calculator applies the European standard EN 16258 Methodology for calculation and declaration of energy consumption and GHG emissions of transport services (freight and passengers). This allows for accurate calculation of CO2 emissions associated with different logistics processes, providing valuable insights and promoting sustainability in the transportation industry.

To enhance the value of the extracted logistics data, ODETT incorporates Metabase, a powerful data visualization tool. Metabase offers a user-friendly interface to present the extracted data in a visually appealing and insightful manner. This enables logistics professionals to gain meaningful and actionable insights from the data, empowering them to make informed decisions and optimize their operations.
