What it does
Odds of Winning is a social experiment game inspired by Illusion of Control (link). People with high illusion of control tend to overestimate their ability to control events that happen purely based on chance. This is why many people feel more confident in their odds of winning when they pick their own lottery number. In each game, the players are given a randomly generated number (1 - 4) with an option to change it. The purpose of this simple social experiment is to see how many people prefers to pick their own number and how this result is affected by the amount of points.

Challenges
Discovering this hackathon two days before the submission deadline, it was not an easy decision to join. With the limited time and pressure, I tried out a few different ideas and was able to submit a partially implemented app. Some features that I failed to implement in this app includes a leaderboard, a 90-min break timer between games, and a statistical graph that shows the percentage of people who picked their own number.
