OcuFlip
OcuFlip is a venture that developed specialized forceps that allow medical providers to securely evert a patient's eyelid and remove lodged debris from the eye. After conducting thorough interviews with medical professionals and developing unit economics for this venture, it became clear it was not commercially viable. This presentation explains the process of developing this medical device, learning about its flawed value proposition, why I decided to stop pursuing this venture, and ultimately what I learned by going through the process.
