Inspiration

As a commuter student I find myself going from work to school to hanging out with friends without time to change my outfit.

What it does

During the day it is worn as an interesting scarf but it also can be transformed into a skirt overlay when going to your next event.

How I built it

Using AutoCAD I created the pattern, then it was made by laser cutting.

Challenges I ran into

Sizing issues and material exploration lead to many iterations.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

As an Interior Design student with little fashion experience I am proud that I made a functioning piece.

What I learned

I learned more about laser cutting and a lot about how materials respond.

What's next for October

Hopefully to continue creating new designs for more sizes of women.
