Emergancy Service Dtetection Assistance (ESDA) tracks people through a camera and alerts if it detects an unexpected fall. Afterwords it prompts bystanders on what to do with the certain scenario.

Inspiration

Was inspired from the fact that not a lot of people know how to do emergancy procedures like CPR and AED usage. The idea of how people want to help but don't know how to help played an important role in the construction of the project.

What it does

Tracks: It uses a camera to track people Alerts: Alerts when detecting an unexpected fall (showing signs of unexpected symptoms) Promps: Displays to the user information how the sceniro and what tools they can use to help

How we built it

Design: Used Figma and 3D modeled through CAD with Fusion Program: Used python to utilize openCV and other APIs like Geocoder(for location), Twilio(for messaging), Tkinter(for image display), and haarcascade for the ROI which helpes with precison.

Challenges we ran into

Design: Developing an easy interface for the U.I. and making the 3D model smooth in Fusion. Program: Trying to get the tracking system to precisley track a person and display the alert because it would bug from lighting or not correctly detecting the object.
