Inspiration

Plastic pollution threatens over 800 marine species and costs global economies billions in ecological damage. OceanGuard.ai provides an open-source, edge-optimized software intelligence layer for drones, surface vessels, and shoreline cameras to automatically identify debris hotspots.

By running optimized object-detection neural networks over real-time video feeds, OceanGuard locates waste, categorizes it by material type, and plots pollution density heatmaps to coordinate highly targeted cleanup efforts.
