Inspiration

We were inspired by Mr. Beast and his fundraiser TeamSeas in 2021, which was able to raise 30 million dollars for 30 million pounds of trash.

What it does

Our program asks the user to type a word, and if the user types it correctly, they have "picked up" a piece of trash. This is meant to spread awareness for Ocean conservation.

How we built it

We built it using replit and a C++ extension.

Challenges we ran into

We struggled to find a way to incorporate a list into our code. We struggled with finding a way to share our code with each other and with randomizing the index.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have been able to incorporate the list and quit function effectively, while also getting the random index to work.

What we learned

We learned how to share our code with each other and use lists in c++.

What's next for OceanCleanse

Hopefully, OceanCleanse can continue to make projects to spread awareness for ocean conservation.
