Inspiration for OceanGuard The inspiration for OceanGuard stems from the urgent need to protect our planet’s oceans and water bodies, which are essential to life on Earth. Oceans cover over 70% of the planet and play a crucial role in regulating climate, supporting marine biodiversity, and sustaining millions of livelihoods. However, they face immense threats from pollution, overfishing, and climate change.
The idea for OceanGuard arose from the desire to empower individuals and communities to take action against these challenges. Witnessing the devastating effects of plastic pollution, oil spills, and waste accumulation on marine ecosystems, we wanted to create a platform that bridges the gap between awareness and action.
