Inspiration

Inspired by a previous centroid counter project I did using openCV

What it does

This is a object detection algorithm that aims to aim in robotic navigation.

How we built it

This was built mainly using AWS Sagemaker and AWS IOT Greengrass

Challenges we ran into

  1. The fact that I do not have the necessary equipment and data to test the algortihm.
  2. A number of assumptions had to be made regarding the robot that this algorithm was intended.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This project was completed in about 2 days.

What we learned

AWS is a very capable service

What's next for Object detection using AWS sagemaker and AWS IOT greengrass

Exploring the different services that AWS offers and seeing what interest me the most
