Inspiration

Inspired by the strength and resilience of our mothers and older women navigating menopause, we set out to create an inclusive and accessible health and wellness app, dedicated to providing support and empowerment through this transformative life stage.

What it does

Our holistic Menopause Health and Wellness app is a comprehensive solution designed to empower women during this life transition. We provide accessible knowledge about menopause and its symptoms, simplifying scientific concepts for easy understanding. Our innovative wearable ring tracks physical symptoms, and our AI analyzes the data for personalized medical insights. The immersive VR app offers a calming environment to alleviate physical symptoms. Additionally, our Google Nest integration ensures inclusivity, allowing visually impaired individuals to access the same information through a voice-activated assistant, creating a supportive and inclusive experience for all women.

How we built it

We built interactive prototypes for the App and VR headset in figma. We designed the ring in using procreate for digital art and we programed the Google Nest using the Google Home app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of the holistic and comprehensive approach that we accomplished with this project. We created an accessible device that can be utilized through different forms of technology, allowing this to be catered to a large group of people.

What we learned

We learned how to transfer and present information through different forms of technology and we learned how to utilize research and other findings to back our idea.

What's next for Oasis

We hope to expand more on the features and include multiple means of accessibility.
