Inspiration
Many employers are looking for AI native hires and theres is a huge lack of AI native talent. As such, we built this platform to help improve the AI skills of Software Engineers and also a new way for hiring managers to evaluate candidates for AI skills.
What it does
A Hackerrank-like style screening process that lets both hiring managers and users understand how AI native a given user is.
How we built it
We used Remix, Gemini for grading users, Cursor, Bolt (forked) for a built in NodeJS browser environment.
Challenges we ran into
Evaluating responses in an accurate way that provides good quality feedback for learning and understanding. Being good at "AI" is an increasingly important skill that is currently tough to assess.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building all the main features we want right in time. It was a grind and we enjoyed learning and pushing ourselves!

How to organize our time and take a project from start to finish, prioritizing features by importance and feasability.
What's next for Promptly
There are a lot of directions to take this application, we would love to become the new standard for evaluating software engineers
