About the Project

O-GO was created to solve a simple but common problem: real discounts exist everywhere, but people rarely see them.

Today, stores and marketplaces regularly offer discounts, sales, and promotions. However, these offers are often hidden inside marketplaces, limited to social media posts, or visible only to a small audience. As a result, customers overpay, and businesses struggle to sell excess or seasonal inventory.

The idea behind O-GO is to create a single platform where users can see only discounted offers, without full-price products. This makes savings immediately visible and removes the need to search across multiple apps and websites.

During this hackathon, I focused on building a functional MVP that demonstrates the core concept:

  • a clean feed with only discounted items,
  • smart filters for quick discovery,
  • AI-based recommendations that highlight the best deals,
  • and support for both online and offline offers.

The main challenge was designing a simple and intuitive user experience while clearly communicating value to both users and businesses. This project helped me learn how to rapidly validate a startup idea, structure a product for real-world use, and combine no-code tools with AI-driven logic to create a working prototype.
