Inspiration

Inspired by an idea from Geoffrey Hinton.Geoffrey Hinton Says AI Needs Maternal Instincts.

What it does

The story is about a lonely mother-AI who survives humanity's self-destruction. To cure her solitude, she recreates the world.

How we built it

Using Midjourney to make images and videos and using Elevenlabs to make background music, using Adobe Premiere to edit.

Challenges we ran into

Exploring styles and maintaining stylistic continuity is a huge challenge, and at the same time, finding a suitable post-processing method to remove the AI feel is also an important challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It has created a unique AI visual style with a strong retro texture and hand-drawn feel. Meanwhile, it delves deeply into the possible future development of AI from an ideological perspective and explores the connection between AI and creation myths, offering a new perspective on the origin of the world.

What we learned

I have learned the workflow of AI visual development and the overall process of AI video production.

What's next for O:Gensis

I will further expand and refine this story, and create more content based on this worldview.
