Inspiration
Hajjis face many problems such as long ques for identification, health, religious guidance,commerce and language. This also creates a challenge for the KSA government. Raqeeb helps to solve these issues in a meaningful and convenient way. Much of the problems solved come's from my mother's sharing of her experience.
What it does
Raqeeb acts as a identification storage, currency wallet, health monitor, guider, translator and accident prevention system.

Raqeeb works on a smartphone partnered with a smart wrist band. There are 10 problems that Raqeeb addresses. 1. Identification : People coming from different parts of the world can have their ID stored in the Raqeeb app. They are also issued a band and an app code that they can activate. Which works as a identifier for them and lets the Saudi authorities scan their identities. It also shows and relates a group leader with his members.
2.Financials People can deposit amounts in their Raqeeb Wallet in partner banks at home. Wallet merchants would be available all over Mecca, allowing Haji's to buy and transfer Riyals. It also allows Haji's to take a mini loan.
3. Food and Beverage People can access vending machines with QR codes. Group leader and Saudi authorities can send message to the Haji's of where the food is. Haji's can also order through the app.
4. Language : The app allows to automatically translate audio messages in different languages. It also has pre recorded messages in different languages , both hajis and saudi authorities can use it. Saudi authorities can also broadcast messages to everyone, translated in their languages.
5. Navigation The app navigates haji's to the performance of their activities. It also allows the saudi authorities to control the crowds and redirect routes.. It helps the haji's to find their group leader if their lost.
6. Transport Hajis can see bus terminals, book taxis through the app. The saudi government can also record the entrance of individuals in public buses which automatically gives them the data to manage bus transport requirements.
7. Accomodation Hajis can book hotels or navigate to their pre book hotel with room numbers through the app.
8. Health Real time statistics are send to the Saudi authorities which allows them to alert or provide particular aid to the individuals. It also gives haji's the ease to see conditions of their vitals in the app and allow them to select from a variety of different pre conditions and see visually what they need to do.
9. Waste Management It allows Saudi Authorities to manage waste management by allowing front line workers to tag dumps that are full or empty. Dumpsters also send signals to the authorities in case they are full.
10. Slaughter Request it helps haji's track whether their animal has been slaughtered or not.
How I built it
It is currently in the prototype building stage, based of MERN stack.

API level access and simplifying UX for average user.

Addressing the right problems and providing an easy UX for pilgrims and other stake holders involved.
