Inspiration
I was looking at the Day 3 challenges, and there were so many that I wanted to do. Even if credit-wise this can only count for one challenge, I thought it'd be cool to incorporate multiple challenges into one project.
What it does
Scrapes weather.com for high and low temps in NYC from approximately this month; Plots data to allow visualization of potential trends
How we built it
Built in Python using BeautifulSoup, pandas, and matplotlib
What we learned
To scrape sites ethically, be sure to abide by what's written in robots.txt files; Web scraping is actually easier than I thought!
