Inspiration

While we are looking the FAQ (frequently asked questions) page for Local Hack Day, we found out that it was quite cumbersome to read through all the FAQs. Asking others, we found out that although it's not too much of a hassle, they did find it annoying that they cannot just ask a specific question without having the need to search through the list. That is why we decided to make the Helper bot, who parses through the FAQ pages and generate an answer bank to answer any questions that users have.

What it does

Mentioned before, the Helper bot parses the FAQ page questions and answers, and generate an answer bank that can answer to users who asks the question directly to the Helper bot.

How we built it

We used slack to act as the communication to Helper bot, and DialogFlow to generate the Helper bot that have a machine learning algorithm and natural language processing developed by Google. Using DialogFlow, the Helper bot can answer any questions without having the need for the users to type word for word the precise question.
