🚀 Inspiration

In today’s fast-evolving job market, one thing has remained painfully stagnant — access to personalized career guidance. As students ourselves, we at BioMorph AI have often seen peers struggle with basic career decisions: What job suits my skills? How do I write a standout resume? Am I interview-ready?

Surveys show that over 75% of students and recent graduates feel unprepared to enter the workforce. This inspired us to build something that goes beyond traditional counseling — a smart, scalable, AI-powered career guidance platform. And thus, Nuvita AI was born.

🧠 What We Learned

Throughout this journey, we deepened our understanding in several key areas:

  • LLM integration for real-world applications like resume and letter generation
  • Leveraging Groq's high-speed inference capabilities to build low-latency user experiences
  • Creating modular AI agents for different tasks (resume builder, quiz generator, insight fetcher)
  • Structuring a full-stack solution combining frontend interactivity and backend reasoning

This project also pushed us to think critically about user experience, personalization, and data relevance in career tools.

Nuvita AI was built as a full-stack web application using:

  • Frontend: React with TypeScript for dynamic, responsive UI
  • Backend: Python (Flask/FastAPI) to connect to AI models and handle user data
  • AI Models: We integrated LLMs through APIs and optimized them using Groq’s ultra-low latency engine for real-time generation

🧩 Challenges We Faced

Every impactful project has its hurdles, and Nuvita AI was no exception.

  • Latency Issues: Initially, our AI responses were slow. Integrating Groq’s inference engine significantly boosted performance, making real-time feedback possible.
  • Prompt Engineering: Getting the LLMs to generate accurate and context-aware content required hours of refining prompts and instructions.
