Making healthier choices with eating in a quick and simple way.

What it does

Scans a food item's barcode and gives nutritional information and metrics to determine if its the right choice.

How we built it

We used React Native to make a mobile app that uses the Open Food Facts API as a database.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into were adapting to React Native as this was new for all of our teammates and ensure the app worked seamlessly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the scanning feature in addition to the playful and simplistic UI.

What we learned

We learned how to use React Native and create a mobile app.
