We wanted to make an app that was easy to access and easy to use for everyone to be able to get the information they need quickly. This app allows users to scan food/medicine and get facts, insights, and recommendations. We used Python libraries, such as OpenCV, to link images to our gemini api. We came into a lot of front-end and back-end miscommunications. We are proud of implementing the Gemini API and getting the front-end to work. We learned a lot about software development, collaboration, and using the development tools such as GitHub.
