Inspiration

A huge inspiration was , following a good idea and solving pain of my problem, most of ai calorie tracking apps ,take meals provide macros and insights, but i wanted to take a leap and make this into a health&wellness , where people doesn't only have to open app - log meal - close but , they take part in Challenges , compete with each other ( which motivates them to be engaged in their journey )

What it does

• Track your meals effortlessly using AI.
• Analyze your nutrition and macros automatically.
• Set personalized goals for calories, protein, carbs, and fats.
• Stay motivated with streaks and daily progress insights.
• Understand your habits with journal and challenge features.
• Make smarter choices with AI-driven suggestions.

How we built it

• I made this app with KMP ( Kotlin Multiplatform , Supabase for backend and Revenuecat ) , Why KMP ? - I was already using Kotlin for developing apps , second , KMP gave me privilige of achieving native UI and feel for IOS and Android.

Challenges we ran into

• The main challenge was the stability of KMP with android studios/ Xcode
• Heavily researched UIs , provided Multi themes for better accessibilty
• Making it secure , backend implementations , S3 handlings

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• I built this product , and really proud of achieving what i imagined about UIs/ user experiences and my first app on store.

What we learned

• A lot of things i learnt during this challenge , a first always a special and shipathon amplified it. from integrating inApp purchases using revenuecat to handing backend and rubbing things for marketing, it was a fun ride :)

What's next for Nutrify Ai

• Continue being in touch with customers
• Enhancing feature Challenge ( like Private Challenge - to compete with friends ) etc
• Making it a real growth
