Inspiration
We were inspired as over 40% of the US population was obese and generally dissatisfied, where a lot of families on the other hand were starving, and had to budget their resources to buy food.
What it does
It lets you interact with a AI chat bot which answers any diet/calorie related query you have, while also generating a meal plan and and exercise plan that lets you keep track of how many calories consumed vs lost, as well as monitor your exercise while also catering to your personal needs.
How we built it
We used an API from open Ai for the chat bot, and used java script and css with html to link the backend to the front end, using generative AI in both the front and the back ends.
Challenges we ran into
- Finding keys for API's that were free (for the chat bot)
- Integrating AI into the chat bot
