NUSHLAB is an application using Python and Java as an internal social media for NUSH students, specifically targeted at interest groups and outreach efforts. This functionality allows students to connect and be more aware of student-led initiatives in school, bridging this critical gap in current platforms used.

We aim to fill this gap, where platforms ranging from the most informal Reddit or Instagram, to Outlook or the dedicated NUSH Espace2, have failed to bring news of initiatives by the council and interest groups to students effectively - no one third-party platform is used by most students, and formal communications are often inconvenient to view, leaving many such initiatives without the engagement they deserve. To address this issue, NUSHLAB is a user-friendly, NUSH-centric platform where students can interact and share information. This forum aims to serve students who may have an interest in certain fields but who don't receive news of many relevant opportunities.

NUSHLAB targets two groups of students in particular, interest groups and the student population, which we believe is missing out on many opportunities which would be available through our platform.
