What It Does

NurseFlow instantly triages patients using 5-step AI reasoning:

  • Extracts vitals (fever, pulse, O2)
  • Assesses risk (🔴Critical fever>102° | 🟡Urgent fever>100° | 🟢Monitor)
  • Checks safety (allergies, pregnancy)
  • Gives WHO-standard actions + timeline
  • Explains reasoning

Example: "Maria fever 102 pulse 115" → Structured plan in 2 seconds vs 10 minutes manual.

How We Built It

Pure Elasticsearch Agent Builder:

  1. Created agent with mandatory 5-step reasoning instructions
  2. Deployed on Serverless (free tier)
  3. Structured output format for nurse trust
  4. Live demo link + screenshots
  5. GitHub repo with MIT license

Challenges We Ran Into

  • Balancing medical accuracy with speed
  • Making complex triage simple for busy nurses
  • No patient data available → pure reasoning agent
  • Tight deadline (Feb 27) → focused on MVP impact

What We Learned
