The concept of a chatbot mentor for medical trainees emerged as a visionary step in reshaping the landscape of medical learning. With insights from our esteemed mentor, Dr. Rekha Dhonde, we refined our approach to complement traditional medical training rather than replace it. The envisioned application became a supportive guide for medical trainees, assisting them in routine tasks and empowering them with knowledge, thus optimizing the efficiency of healthcare professionals. What it does

Our Generative AI Chatbot transforms hospital workflows by utilising the hospital's Learning Management System (LMS) as a robust dataset. Tailored for nurses, the chatbot employs advanced generative AI to offer prompt guidance in nursing procedures and efficient inventory placement, reducing the time spent on document navigation. With a user-friendly interface, it enhances productivity, minimises errors, and streamlines operations, providing real-time assistance and significant time savings for nurses. Key benefits include improved productivity, decreased errors, and substantial time savings, ultimately empowering healthcare professionals to prioritise patient care.

How we built it

Our journey began with a focused brainstorming session where we identified the need for a Generative AI Chatbot to transform hospital workflows for nurses. The project overview emphasized the team's composition and the strategic use of technologies such as Cody (API), ChatGPT, and Angular Framework. Meticulous documentation outlined key features, including dataset integration, NLP techniques, and inventory optimization, contributing to a user-friendly interface. Clear usage guidelines were provided for nurses, ensuring seamless navigation. Looking ahead, future improvements were identified, emphasizing advanced NLP, voice command integration, and multilingual support. Acknowledgments expressed gratitude to ChatGPT and Cody for their pivotal roles in enhancing our innovative Nurse Navigator.

Challenges we ran into

What we learned
