Inspiration

One of Nupta’s founders is an attorney who has seen firsthand how access to justice impacts everyday people. Legal help is often out of reach for most consumers, especially for important but overlooked legal needs like prenuptial agreements. Nupta was created to close this gap—using technology to make legal protection accessible and affordable.

What it does

Nupta helps people generate legally sound prenuptial agreements. Through a guided conversation with the Nupta chatbot, users get a custom, state-compliant prenup ready for signature.

How we built it

Nupta was built by a legal and technical founding team. We started with a 50-state legal research project to map requirements for prenup agreements across the U.S. Our CTO built the product using Bolt. This is the first product we’ve built as a team!

What we learned

• Preparation and legal research are more time-consuming than anticipated, but essential for a regulated product!
• Distribution is the next big challenge. Getting the word out is as important as building the tool.

• Expanding the prenup offering to support more scenarios and customization.
• Launching a paid tier with premium features.
• Focusing on partnerships and distribution to reach more people who need affordable legal agreements.
