Inspiration ✨

Every year, 40% of the food produced in the United States goes uneaten, leading to 160 billion pounds of wasted food in our landfills. Based on my own experience, I often forgot the expiration date of a product and end up throwing it.

What it does 👩🏻‍💻

Nuloo will give a reminder if a product is going to expire soon and manage all the products that the user bought. It also tracks users' monthly spending and gives information about discount coupons.

Challenges I ran into ❗️

I am a final year student in a senior high school, and now, I am on my exam period. Therefore, it was hard to manage my time between studying and working on this project. However, I want to make it work and finally, I finished on time.

Accomplishment that we’re proud of 🏅

I refuse to give up and do my best although I don't have much time and am currently in an exam period

What we learned 📚

During this project, I learned many things especially in using Figma. I have made a few Figma prototypes before. However, I tried to make this prototype different from my previous projects and try to work in more detail than before. Furthermore, this project also helps me to manage my time more efficiently as I don’t have much time to work on this project.

What’s next 🔮

In the future, I would like to work with API, make the codes, and want to add a feature where the user can donate funds for children who are suffering from malnutrition and food poverty to make it more concrete in solving the world problem.
