Inspiration

Our inspiration was the New Year's Resolution itself! Many people plan them out, but when the new year comes, they almost never go through with it. We hope our Webapp would lend the motivation needed to go through with the resolution.

What it does

Once logged into your account, you are allowed to post resolutions for yourself throughout the year. Also, you would be able to see others' resolutions through the platform!

How we built it

We built this using Django, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Challenges we ran into

We initially had issues with adding changes to the repo on GitHub, but we fixed that with another method (forking and pull requests). Another challenge was the difficulty of adapting the code and files from one OS to another, but that was solved with lots of communication and collaboration within the team.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to run the Django server, finishing the webapp one page at a time.

What we learned

We learned that communication is key when developing a project together, no matter the experience of the members themselves.

What's next for Nuevo Resuelto

We would like to add more features, and make it more like a social media applicatio.

I worked on the frontend. I used figma for the first time for UI design. I used html css js, and primarily bootstrap to style pages. I learned about integrating with the backend, as well as some new bootstrap tricks.
