Nudge AI — Smart Follow-Up Assistant.

Inspiration## Inspiration

People often forget to follow up on important everyday matters, such as pending refunds, bill payments, warranty claims, and other tasks. These small missed follow-ups can cause stress, wasted time, and lost money. We wanted to build a simple tool that helps people stay organized and remember what matters.

What it does

Nudge AI is a Smart Follow-Up Assistant that helps users manage bills, refunds, warranties, and other important tasks in one place.

Users can:

• Add reminders with a category and due date.
• View all reminders in one dashboard.
• See priority labels based on due dates.
• Receive rule-based smart suggestions about what to do next.
• Mark tasks as completed or delete them.
• Track total, upcoming, and completed reminders.

How we built it

We built the prototype using HTML for the website structure, CSS for the design, and JavaScript for the reminder functionality and prioritization logic. Browser local storage saves reminders so they remain available after refreshing the page on the same browser. We published the website using GitHub Pages.

Challenges we faced

One challenge was making the reminder form, dashboard counters, and task actions work together correctly. We addressed this by organizing the JavaScript into functions for adding, displaying, completing, deleting, and saving reminders.

What we learned

We learned how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work together to create an interactive web application. We also learned about browser storage, date-based prioritization, GitHub repositories, and website deployment.

What's next

We plan to improve Nudge AI with actual AI-powered assistance, notifications, recurring reminders, and secure cloud synchronization so users can manage their follow-ups across devices.
