Inspiration

The theme being Instagram Reels, I wanted to make something out of the box which can get viral. In this Covid-19 situation, everyone is bored at home and trying something new. I thought of making something which can be used by a lot of users.

What it does

The filter gives you a nucleon alien look and gives you the ability to show off your moves without getting camera conscious.

How I built it

The effect was made with the help of Spark AR studio, using patch editor. Firstly, I made an outline to the body then replaced the person with a stock image and then with the help of patch I added the option to choose your music from Instagram.

Challenges I ran into

It was very difficult for me to pick a background track, after watching some tutorials I realized that I can use Instagram Music and people can choose a number for themselves which makes it customizable.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I think the way it looks is really cool and with the ability to choose a song makes it unique.

What I learned

Patience is very important when you have to dwell something new along with experiments.

What's next for Nucleon

As Spark AR would be getting more features and integration, there will be a lot of opportunities for the developers to show their creativity. There are some minor improvements to make it sharper.
