Inspiration
There are applications for many people, but they are disjoint and expensive. We want applications for unique problems to empower people across the world.
What it does
It's a place for individuals to connect and share open source web accessibility tools.
How we built it
We built a braille reader using:
- Arduino
- 3d printed parts
- Legos
- Pen caps
Image captioning:
- Azure Cognitive
- Azure Functions
- Chrome extension
In addition to a wix website forum where individuals can contribute or share their designs.
Challenges we ran into
4 separate 3d printers crashing in addition to tracking down legos for the braile reader.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
What we learned
We learned about what tools can be made in a short time and more about the shortcomings of the w3 incorporation.
What's next for nTouch Vision Accessability
We hope to finish our nTouch braille reader in addition to building an audio tool.
