Inspiration

Excessive waste is one of the major contributing factors against sustainability. Even though we wish to recycle items, many times we are unable to, as people do not have appropriate knowledge on what and where to recycle. 79% of recycling materials end up in the landfills anyways. So to solve this problem, I’ve created ‘NoWaste’. NoWaste is an innovative solution that helps you recycle and reduce waste. Here’s how it works

What it does

NoWaste provides an Incentivised platform for you to encourage recycling via incentives. It provides you with points on recycling items, and also a monthly goal to recycle enough items. It also utilizes AI technology to identify items that can or cannot be recycled. Finally, it also gives you location of trusted recycling plants around you.

I used Wix to make the entire website. Velo was used for the login, point tracking and AI integration system as well.

There is a ton of future scope for this. More integration and features can easily be added
