Inspiration

I was moved by how stressful and exhausting it can be for individuals—especially small teams and creators—trying to manage their social media. You put in so much effort creating posts, showing up consistently, and hoping for engagement, yet the results often fall short. That struggle is what inspired Novetiv: to make things easier, smarter, faster, and more rewarding with the help of AI.

What it does

Novetiv is an AI-powered social media management platform that helps individuals, brands, and teams simplify the way they connect with their audience by generating tailored content, scheduling posts at the best times, gaining real-time insights into engagement and sentiment, automating responses to comments and messages, and tracking trends to improve their social media strategy—all in one smart, easy-to-use system.

How we built it

We built Novetiv with a deep understanding of the challenges that individuals and teams face in managing social media. Our system is built with Bolt using Next.js with TypeScript for the frontend, enabling a fast, responsive user interface and a seamless experience across devices. We used Tailwind CSS and component libraries to design a clean, modern layout that feels intuitive and easy to navigate. For the backend, we chose Supabase—leveraging its PostgreSQL database, authentication, and real-time capabilities—to ensure reliable, scalable data storage and user management. To power the intelligence behind Novetiv, we integrated Python-based multi-agent AI systems, each built to handle specific tasks like sentiment analysis, content generation, post scheduling, and audience engagement. These agents communicate with the main platform through secure APIs.

Challenges we ran into

Building Novetiv was exciting—but definitely not without its tough moments. One of the biggest challenges we faced was getting all the AI agents to talk to the frontend smoothly. Since the agents were built in Python and the main app was running on Next.js, making them communicate in real-time without lag or confusion took a lot of trial and error.

Another hurdle was keeping the AI-generated content aligned with the brand’s voice. It turns out, even smart models need a lot of training and tweaking to truly understand the nuances of tone and audience. We spent a good amount of time fine-tuning prompts and filtering outputs so the content didn’t just sound smart—but also sounded right. We also had to be clever with how we handled data. Real-time insights are great, but they can get messy fast. Working with Supabase, we had to optimize how we pulled and pushed data so everything stayed fast and responsive without overwhelming the system.

Releasing a social media app is a long process, especially for accessing user's personal information. Most review for third party like Novetiv by Platform providers are not fast, making it uneasy to onboard many users in the development stage. Currently, any one that will use the app will reach out to us to provide their social handles so we can add them to reviewers or users before instagram and facebook approve our app for geeral usages.

And finally, the user experience. We didn’t want Novetiv to feel like another complicated tool. So we kept going back to the drawing board—testing, redesigning, simplifying—until it felt easy, natural, and even fun to use.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re incredibly proud of how far Novetiv has come. One of our biggest wins was building a platform that actually feels helpful—something users can rely on to make their social media work easier, not harder. Seeing the AI agents generate meaningful content, analyze audience sentiment in real-time, and even suggest better posting times has been a huge milestone for us. We also managed to connect multiple technologies—Next.js, Supabase, and Python-based AI agents—into one smooth, cohesive system. That alone was a challenge, and getting it all to work together in real-time without breaking things was no small feat. Another accomplishment we're proud of is how simple and clean the user experience turned out to be. We didn’t just want to build something smart—we wanted it to feel easy and intuitive. The fact that users can generate, schedule, and analyze posts from one place in just a few clicks means we’ve done something right. Most importantly, we’ve created something that can scale—whether it’s for a solo content creator or a growing team. That’s the kind of impact we set out to make.

What we learned

Throughout the journey of building Novetiv, we learned that simplicity is harder than it looks—and more powerful than we imagined. Creating a tool that balances advanced AI with an experience that feels easy and natural pushed us to think deeper about both design and usability. We discovered how important it is to listen—not just to data, but to the real frustrations users face every day. Their need for clarity, time-saving features, and meaningful insights helped guide every feature we built. On the technical side, we learned how to make different technologies “speak the same language.” Connecting Python-based AI agents to a Next.js and Supabase stack taught us a lot about system architecture, error handling, and performance tuning. And maybe most importantly, we learned that building something people truly need takes patience, empathy, and the willingness to keep iterating—even when it gets messy.

What's next for Novetiv

We’ve laid the foundation, and now it’s time to grow. Next, we plan to fine-tune the existing Novetiv’s capabilities by introducing handle multiple users. We also plan to support more social media platforms and add deeper integrations for scheduling, customer support, and analytics. One of our most exciting goals is to open up Novetiv to teams around the world, giving creators, businesses, and agencies a shared space to collaborate, plan, and grow together. We will also work on a mobile-first experience so users can manage and engage with their audience from anywhere. At its core, Novetiv will continue evolving with one goal in mind: making social media work smarter for everyone—so you spend less time figuring it out, and more time doing what you love.
