Lives and livelihoods are changing rapidly, and people are confused.

Small Businesses make up 42% of the US GDP and 53% of the non-government workforce and they are heavily affected by COVID-19 Closures.

Workers in this area are affected. There are 6 million affected in food services and 10 million* affected in transportation alone.

40 to 80% of Americans are expected to be sick this year with the virus. They'll need to prepare to take sick time and quarantine.

There’s tons of support for those affected, but finding the best option is challenging

Private and Public Sectors have announced Covid-Related Support for businesses and individuals, such as: loans, grants, rent, income, psychological support, homelessness, healthcare, school, and hundreds more.

We surveyed (survey found at https://forms.gle/7hUgFDtFC4PmaJsEA) our communities this past weekend and this is what we found:

60% of people said they wish they had more options to find support resources online Specifically: Small business loans, insurance, and unemployment benefits.

50% of responders said they or someone they knew could benefit from a business loan in light of Covid. They estimated 50% of seekers did not the information they needed to responsibly get a loan.

Our solution: 1 platform to find support for your business and individual/personal needs

Novel ConneXtion is a website designed to find you every support option available based on a few criteria:

  • Individual vs Business
  • Location (City, State)
  • Working Industry
  • Type of Support (Loans, Grants, Mortgage/Rent, Unemployment/Income, Psychological support, Homelessness, Healthcare, Education)

With this 1 site, people can find:

  • The most up-to-date support: both public (federal or state level) or private
  • Many options so they can choose the best one based on the details, terms, required documentation, and method of applying
  • Additional resources they might not have known existed
  • Help for their business AND their personal/individual well-being

What was challenging for us

We also had trouble finding the resources to list on the sites
